3 Reasons to Live in Subic Bay Olongapo

Did you know a lot of people have recently decided it would be best for them to permanently transfer from Metro Manila to Subic Bay Olongapo? If the answer to that question is no, it’s because Olongapo has so many job opportunities that leaving the city has become a lot easier. As for the people who chose to leave Metro Manila, they have different reasons why they did that and here are the most common ones:

Less Traffic

If you’ve travelled during the rush hour in Metro Manila, you’ve experienced the terrible traffic. The places that usually took you 30 minutes to travel now takes up to 2 hours. The worst part is there’s no solution to this problem. A lot of rules have been proposed like the odd-even scheme and banning cars that are more than 20 years old. Unfortunately, none of these proposals can solve the traffic in the city. It’s a good thing the traffic in Subic isn’t that bad.

Cleaner Air

Because of the presence of many vehicles in the streets of Metro Manila, there’s a possibility you’ll inhale their smoke. On the other hand, since there aren’t many vehicles roaming the streets of Subic, you won’t inhale much smoke. Also, smoking cigarettes are banned in all public places. This led to malls, restaurants, bars and other establishments to assign designated smoking areas. Therefore, you’ll inhale nothing but fresh air when you’re in town.

White Sand Beaches

When you’re stressed at work, there’s nothing better than to spend a day at the beach. You can relax whilst listening to the waves and having a beach-themed cocktail like Piña Colada. However, if you’re living in Metro Manila, the nearest beach is 3 hours away and that’s not even including the traffic you may encounter. Therefore, it’s impossible to do that. On the other hand, if you’re living in Subic Bay Olongapo, the nearest beach is just a quarter hour away.
